The Compa 400 is a compact L-bar shrink wrapping machine that combines an L-shaped sealing station with a heat shrink tunnel in a footprint of 2730 x 900 x 1400 (h) mm. It works with both POF and PVC shrink film and handles up to 15 pkg/min (max.), giving small and medium-sized producers a complete shrink packaging solution without the space or cost of a fully automatic line. Built in Bursa by Edda, Turkiye's first manufacturer of horizontal stretch wrapping machines.
The product is placed in centre-folded shrink film at the sealing station and the L-shaped sealing bar is closed, cutting and sealing the film on two sides in a single stroke. The sealed pack is then transferred on the conveyor through the heat tunnel, where hot air shrinks the film evenly around the product for a tight, transparent finish.
