The Admiral 850 is an automatic side sealer POF shrink wrapping machine — the side-sealing version of Edda's Supra range. Because its side seal runs along the full length of the product instead of a fixed L-shaped frame, it wraps items of unlimited length in clear POF film for a tight, retail-ready finish. The Admiral line covers sealing jaw lengths from 500 to 950 mm. Built in Bursa by Edda, Turkiye's first manufacturer of horizontal stretch wrapping machines.
Products travel on the infeed conveyor into centre-folded POF film. The side sealer closes the open long edge of the film along the product, and a cross-seal jaw seals and cuts the front and rear of each pack. Since the side seal is not limited by a fixed frame, product length is unlimited. The sealed pack then moves through the shrink tunnel, where heat shrinks the film tight against the product. Capacity on the 850 size is up to 30 pkg/min (max.), depending on product dimensions.
