Optibox is a CNC box-on-demand machine that produces made-to-measure corrugated boxes one by one. It cuts, creases and slots cardboard up to 2500 mm wide and 2–7 mm thick, so every product gets a box that fits, with less void fill, less cardboard and lower shipping volume. Box sizes are entered in the EDDAWORKS® software, which includes more than 50 predefined box styles and a designer for new ones. Tool positioning: tool-carrying belt with gripping positioning.

What is box on demand?
Instead of keeping stock boxes in many sizes, the machine cuts a box to the exact size of each product from continuous fanfold or sheet board. You save cardboard, void fill and freight volume.
Which boards can it process?
Single and double wall corrugated board 2–7 mm thick: E, B, C, F/E, E/B, E/C and B/C flutes, up to 2500 mm wide.
Can the boxes be closed automatically?
Yes. FEFCO 0410 boxes can be glued and closed by the Sealmaster, or the machine can be part of a complete Themis packaging line.
